69 Staff Members Promoted or Reclassified

The Conference Hall of the Rectorate served as the venue this Tuesday, December 2, 2025, for two sessions of the Joint Commission on Advancement and Reclassification of contract staffs and decision- level staff of the University of Yaounde I.

Chaired by Professor Rosine Paki Matio, née Salé, Secretary-General of the Institution, this important session brought together representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education (MINESUP) and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MINTSS).

At the heart of the discussions was the review of advancement and reclassification files for decision-making and contractual staff.

The examination of nearly 70 files enabled the Commission to fully carry out its mission of reviewing and giving opinions on proposals for staff advancement and reclassification, with emphasis on merit, fairness, and transparency, in accordance with regulatory provisions in force.

At the close of the session, the Secretary-General expressed gratitude to the members of the Commission for the quality of their work.
