Financial Management of UY1 Under Review

The Salle des Actes hosted a working meeting on March 27, 2025, with Expertise France as part of a steering and strengthening mission on Public Enterprises and Establishments (EEP).

The meeting, chaired by the Rector of UY1, Professor Remy Magloire Etoua, was part of efforts to strengthen the supervision of Cameroonian public enterprises and establishments. This initiative was launched by the Ministry of Finance, represented by the General Directorate of Budget, which sought the support of Expertise France. The objective was to assess exchanges between UY1’s financial officials and their financial supervisory body, MINFI. Discussions mainly focused on budget preparation and execution.
