64th Class of ENS
A New Generation of Teachers Ready for Service*
The Higher Teachers’ Training College (ENS) of Yaounde came alive with celebration on Friday, 5 December 2025, during the official diploma award ceremony for the 64th graduating batch.
The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Remy Magloire Etoua, Representative of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, and Rector of the University of Yaounde I. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Public Service and Administrative Reform, Secondary Education, Basic Education, as well as the Governor of the North-West Region.
In her welcome address, the Director of ENS, Prof. Patricia Bissa Enama, expressed deep emotion: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the hierarchy for its constant support and congratulate today’s graduates. Your success is living proof of the excellence of our institution,” she declared.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of diplomas to the top students from the various DIPES I and DIPES II programs, crowning years of hard work, perseverance, and determination.
In his address, Prof. Remy Magloire Etoua praised the graduates’ journey: “You have upheld the prestige of this great institution. Today, I urge you to be dignified, conscientious, and responsible teachers.”
He also warned them against sloppy work, absenteeism, fraud, and negative activism, urging them to adopt exemplary conduct as citizens committed to the qualitative building of the nation.
The 64th batch now sets out on its noble mission: to educate, train, and transform future generations.
