UYI Lecturers Now Better Equipped
The Digital Pedagogy Seminar organized for lecturers of the University of Yaounde I ended this Friday, April 25, 2025, with a closing ceremony presided over by the Rector of UYI, Professor Remy Magloire Etoua, in the Conference Hall of the Rectorate.
This one-month seminar aimed to train lecturers in new digital teaching approaches. A total of 67 lecturers took part in the training. It was conducted in three main phases: pre-training, hybrid training (both online and in-person), and online consolidation of acquired skills.
In their remarks, participants expressed deep gratitude to the Rector for this commendable initiative, expressing “the wish for such training to become regular in order to preserve and strengthen the knowledge gained.”
While congratulating the participants and thanking all those who contributed to the success of the event, Rector Etoua urged the lecturers to “technically rely on the knowledge acquired during this seminar to become competitive actors, both in the classroom and in their respective laboratories.”
